Christmas is a time of new life, to commemorate the birth of Jesus Christ. Celebrated on December the 25th, Christmas is celebrated by Christians across the globe. They unite and come together by celebrating his birth firstly at a mornings Church service and later by visiting friends or family. It's largely a public holiday around the world and sometimes even non-Christians may join in the celebration. Visiting family and friends on Christmas Day is commonplace for many Christians. They will take gifts and food and sometimes flowers. Flowers and gifts are a way to show good will to others.
